Illuminating the room with her seductive glow,
The shadow staring,
As she danced slow.

Following her swiftly along the cold floor,
He felt fire,
He'd never felt before.

Flashing back at him, such a radiant smile,
The light leapt,
To keep him warm for a while.

Time continued, roaring, blazing,
The light and the shadow,
Together were amazing.

The brighter she grew, the stronger he got
Souls tied together,
Love never to be forgot.

As they shined older, she was first to expire,
He would wander,
The earth for that fire.

At first mysterious, he died also,
For without the light,
There is no shadow.
